Please be aware that there will be a salt shortage for the winter of 2018-19. Due to this, the price of road salt is due to increase significantly. Our team wants to ensure this does not cause a problem for you. If you are looking for commercial snow removal services this winter, please request a quote early so our team can get your salt ordered for the season. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide salting for late contracts, as no additional salt will be available beyond the quota.

By far the largest issue that is facing the industry is the cost associated with insurance. Slip and fall claims have made it very difficult for Snow and Ice Operations. Unfortunately, this is an industry-wide issue that all organizations are subject to. Due to the very high increase in insurance rates, there will be an increase to the cost of Snow Removal for the 2018/2019 season. Landscape Ontario is currently working on a solution to mitigate this in the future. Our team is here to help and support you with any questions you have.
